Al Jaddaf (or Al Jadaf) is a portion of Bur Dubai, a historically rich district in the emirate located along Dubai Creek. The district, known as "The Rower," was once a dhow construction area. The waterfront side of Al Jadaf remains dedicated to shipyards and the construction of a big dhow that will set a new world record. Al Jaddaf is well-connected to vital regions such as Downtown Dubai and Business Bay due to its strategic location between Dubai Creek and the Business Bay Extension. The region is also served by major highways and a metro line, making everyday travel easy for inhabitants. Furthermore, Al Jadaf is home to Zabeel Stadium, Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, Latifa Hospital, and several other apartment buildings and hotels.
